The Impact Pavilion @ COP30 (Belém, Brazil, 2025) is a high-profile platform in the COP Blue Zone – the official UN negotiating area – giving sponsors and partners direct access to the heart of a powerful event that shapes global policy and action.

The Impact Pavilion is convened by the UN Science- Policy-Business Forum (UNSPBF) and partners to accelerate clean and green technology markets and digital innovations for the environment. UNSPBF partnerships extend to top policy makers, scientists, C-suite leaders across value chains, investors and civil society.

At a time where the COP30 Presidency has placed implementation at the center of its vision, the Pavilion will be home to 80+ high profile events, inviting partners and stakeholders to meet, interact and showcase their solutions for a resilient and decarbonized world.

Stage Zone (Provisional Design)

Concept & Vision:

The Stage Zone is the pavilion’s core platform for storytelling, dialogue, and high-level engagement. The screens are designed to deliver a high-impact, cinematic visual experience that supports keynote sessions, panels, fireside chats, and virtual guest appearances.

Use Cases:

• Keynote speeches with animated visual support
• Live hybrid panels with remote contributors
• Performance backdrop for cultural and artistic showcases
• Daily program loops and thematic transitions
• Branded motion loops and programmatic schedules interlaced between stage activities

Immersive Exhibition Zone (Provisional Design)

Concept & Vision:

This fully integrated LED environment is designed to immerse participants in narrative-driven visual content, responsive interactions, and symbolic climate experiences. It connects motion, sound, and light to emphasize both the urgency and solutions of climate action.

Use Cases:

• Immersive narrative journeys (e.g., from desertification to reforestation)
• Interactive data experiences (triggered by footfall or guided tours)
• Live environmental simulations or generative art experiences
• Soft brand activations woven into thematic storylines

Interactive Doorway (Provisional Design)

Concept & Vision:

An engaging digital threshold that reacts to proximity or gestures, welcoming visitors into the pavilion while introducing its thematic tone. Positioned at eye level, it acts as a dynamic transition from exterior buzz to interior immersion.

Design Overview & Usage:

• Flush wall-mount preserves architectural integrity.
• Touch or motion interactivity possible via overlay sensors or camera-based input.
• Can play branded interactive messages, climate facts, or poetic visual storytelling that “unlocks” the door metaphorically as guests
approach.

Exterior “L” Corner Display (Provisional Design)

Concept & Vision:

A cinematic exterior screen that wraps around the pavilion corner, forming a bold “L” shape that commands attention from multiple approach angles. Designed as the primary visual draw for passersby to function as a “digital beacon” of the pavilion—broadcasting motion graphics, event highlights, and surreal climate animations. The L-shape makes it visible from two directions, creating maximum awareness and anticipation.

Design Overview & Usage:

• Content can extend across both planes or run unique animations per face.
• Perfect for: countdowns to live sessions, thematic loops, generative art, or crowd-reactive animations (e.g., responding to movement or cheering sounds).

Exterior “L” Corner Display (Provisional Design)

Crown Band Screen / Perimeter Header Strip (Provisional Design)

Concept & Vision:

A thin, continuous band of LED display that wraps the pavilion’s top exterior edge like a crown. Minimalist in dimensions but powerful in ambient expression and brand activation use cases. The band creates a soft halo effect around the structure, broadcasting subtle environmental animations and light-based motion that hint at the living, breathing ecosystem within. Serves both aesthetic and branding functions.

Design Overview & Usage:

• Continuous loop visuals like auroras, solar flares, or slow-motion undersea footage.
• Space for branded taglines, logos, climate messages, or real-time alerts.
• Can be programmed to shift tone across the day, from subtle morning gradients to luminous evening glow.
