Membership

Information About Membership

Official membership to the forum can be applied for by businesses, international organisations and IGOs, Government bodies, multilateral organizations, Scientific Panels and academia, citizen science groups and nonprofits. Members have a unique opportunity to inform the science-policy-business interface of UN Environment and the UN system.

Their contributions, through the Forum, will inform the UN Environment Assembly of the United Nations and provide guidance to the leadership of UN Environment and Member States.

There are three requirements that must be met to be considered for membership:

– Environmental Leadership and commitment to sustainability
– Ability to reach out to multiple networks and governments to support the work of the forum
– Commitment to implementing joint decisions and activities

Once the membership is approved and all requirements verified, the organization has full voting rights and can serve on the Governing Consortium. For more information, please contact: forum@un-spbf.org
